A very moving poem was sent to me from a young girl from Chicago, maybe someone would like to set it to music
Dirge k (c) linDita
I saw a face that looked innocent
I heard a voice that I thought was deep
I heard a song that sang with soul it was
I heard her story that made me weep
They said she has died
Half of me assumed what soon became the true
She had decided to go from this world
Her heart left this world that she saw as no good
Heh you! That once she called family
You who drip a tear for had known her somehow
And miss her company or her voice calling
You who helped and stayed beside her
You who too suffered with her tortures
You who she disappointed with her living
You who won’t get verses from her heart poured
She is gone forever I know
As we once will we want it or no
Remember her for the time she lived
She never left you alone she for left her soul and heart behind forever
through her music and her lyrics
